Race Åboland 2019

 

Dear Associations,

 

This October the Åboland Youth Association (ÅUF) is organizing the event "Race Åboland" for the first time. It consist of a race where teams of 2-5 people compete for who obtains the highest score while visiting various activity points organized by local associations and organisations around Pargas. The event is aimed at children, adolescents and young adults from 10 years upwards. Each team should have at least one person.

So how can associations partecipate and contribute to the event? We hope that you will help showcase yourselves at the "kisa studio" which will be organised by ÅUF in collaboration with Pargas Gaming Community in central Pargas. In the "kisa studio" you can in real time follow a team's progresses as well as the competition as a whole. We hope that this side event will attract those who want to follow the race and cheer on their friends to visit the site and thus also discover your association. What we ask to you is to donate any product or service for the price basket which is the main prize for the competition. So your association will have a central role in the race, since as more people are involved and the price basket gets richer, it is also more likely that we will get many participating teams and spectators. Of course, associations will also have visibility during the marketing of the event.

Race Åboland will take place on Saturday, October 12th starting at approx. 10, with the closing and award ceremony taking place in the "kisa studio" in the late afternoon. You can choose if you want to attend all day, only part of the day or for example just hang up your association banner.

The marketing of the event will start in early September so we hope you can confirm your participation at the end of August at the latest.
